Description

  • 34.6 cm, 13 5/8  in.
the rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to a straight rim, the exterior vibrantly painted with figures on a garden terrace engaged in various leisure activities, reserved on a ground of gilt foliate scrollwork, the interior painted with pomegranates amongst blossoming sprays, below a band of gilt floral foliates

Condition

There are two cracks to the rim (longer one approx. 14 cm). There are some minor touch-ups to the exterior. Firing imperfections include iron spots and burst bubbles in various areas. There are slight surface scratches and rubbing to enamels and gilding.
