of square form, depicting a seated lady engaged in painting within a fenced courtyard, accompanied by a female attendant and several boy attendants bearing gifts, all against a diaper ground and enclosed by a stylised shou border, set within a wood frame

Condition

Unexamined outside of its frame, this panel is in overall good condition, with the exception of loss to one pillar of the pavilion and the tip of the brushpot on the table, there are also very minor splits in some areas and very minor losses particularly to the outer rim. The wood frame has a crack to the top left corner.
