Description

  • 20.4 cm, 8 in.
the rounded sides rising from a short foot, the interior intricately painted in pastel colours with a butterfly flying amidst large peony and chrysanthemum blooms borne on leafy stems

Condition

There are four small restored chips to the rim with associated hairlines extending to the exterior (the longest approx. 3.5 cm). There are also some surface scratches and minor firing imperfections.
