  • 34.5 cm, 13 5/8  in.
standing on cresting waves, wearing long robes opening at the chest to reveal a beaded necklace, the face with a benevolent expression, the reverse impressed with a mark within a square reading Puji Yuren (virtue extends to all, even fishermen)

Collection of Gustav Detring (1842-1913) and/or Constantin von Hanneken (1854-1925), and thence by descent.

Condition

this is in overall fairly good condition, with exception of both hands with missing fingers and a chip to the ruyi.
