Description
- 7.5 cm, 2 7/8 in.
the straight sides rising from a flat base to an angled shoulder and square mouth, surmounted with a small applied chilong handle at each corner, painted to each side with a floral spray
Condition
The jar is in overall good condition with the exception of a rim crack (approx. 0.5 cm), a shallow chip to the base, a small crack on one of the handles (approx. 2.5 cm), the other handle with two small areas of restoration (approx. 1x1 cm each), and some nicks to the extremities. Firing imperfections include glaze pulling at the corners and some near the rim.
