Description

  • 12 cm, 4 3/4  in.
the globular body rising from a short spreading foot to a short waisted neck with rolled rim, set at the shoulder with a pair of lug handles and covered overall in a brown glaze irregularly splashed in creamy-blue

Condition

The jar is in very good condition with the exception of a 2cm x 2mm., line of pitting to the lower body, minor nibbles around the foot, a 7x1mm shallow flake to the edge of the foot, minor glaze firing imperfections including numerous burst glaze bubbles, and light glaze scratches.
