Catalogue Note
See Fred Dukes, Campanology in Ireland, Dublin, 1994, p. 235 for details on Henry Paris, bronze founder. The casting error of a transposed '7' and '0' and the inversion of the '4' and the 'M' suggest that the foundry man who made the present lot may have been illiterate.
