Condition

This rare chest on stand has a superb colour and is of a tidy appearance. The cock-beading to the drawers is oak. And all the drawers have recent good fabric linings. The sides of the upper sections with typical (stable) splits. The stand with some later angle brackets.Typical movement to the yew and surface scratches around handles and lock plates. Slightly unsteady stand. Evidence of old worm at the back and fragmenting to the backboards at this sight. A charming object which is ready to use.
