Condition

The work consists of a number of found and constructed objects that have been painted and decorated and placed within compartments of a glass fronted vitrine which is secured with a clasp. Some of the objects are secured and some have come loose. There is some loss, flaking and lifting to the picture framer's floss element in the upper left quadrant, and some smaller flecks of loss to the stone cottage and hearing aid. Those elements which consist of a paper portion appear to have slightly discoloured. Subject to the above the work appears to be in very good overall condition, and every compartment is complete. The work is held within the integral wooden and glass vitrine construction. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
