Condition

There is an old flat chip to its right ear. The right arm has been re-stuck at its shoulder and wrist. Its lower jar has been re-stuck.

At the time of the Rous Lench sale there was only one other bear of this type recorded, described as a rattle, the piece is in the Metropolitan museum of Art, New York, acc. no. 45.12.39, published by Arnold R.
