realistically modelled and tooled, red and black glass eyes, foliate pierced inner cover, on a part-engraved silver-gilt base, fitted leather and green velvet case

Condition

The underside of base part-marked clearly. The owl tail fully marked. The inner cover fully marked. Nice condition, light wear to engraving on base. The case maybe original but has been re-lined. Otherwise good condition.
