The original canvas. The work appears to be in good overall condition with passages of rich impasto. There is an area of craquleur to the red tenement building in the centre of the composition. There are some areas of very minor craquelure to the light blue pigment in the sky and lower left. UV light inspection reveals some areas of fluorescence, however, this would appear to be the artist's original paint. Held in a simple painted frame. There is a work on the reverse of a tenement building stairwell with some areas of paint loss.
