Catalogue Note
Henri Le Grand Roy (1851-1914) studied under Barthélémy Menn, as well as Ferdinand Hodler. He was a painter on enamel, teaching at the Ecole des Arts industriels in Geneva. This painting was a gift from Hodler after he used Le Grand Roy's studio.
