Condition

Not relined. Canvas wavy and surface slightly dirty. Some abrasions along the margins. Paint loss mainly visible on the lower left margin and in the lower and upper right corners. Two horizontal folds in the upper part of the composition: one shows the traces of the stretcher One diagonal fold in the sky from the upper left to the lower right part. Two upstanding dents one in the roof of the hut on the left side of the composition and one on the bottom left of the signature. Retouching in the lower right corner. Minor craquelure mainly visible between the two animals in the foreground. Otherwise good condition.
