Description

  • Length 8 1/4  in., 21 cm
standing four-square on a rectangular base with the head raised and the tail hanging languidly, a strapwork harness over the face and a corresponding strapwork cover draping the muscular torso and haunches, traces of polychrome

Condition

The figure with restored breaks to extremities such as the horns, tail, and legs and there is a chip to the top of the neck. There is expected wear overall consistent with age and type. The figure with a small drill hole to a back haunch and smaller holes to a front leg for TL testing.
