Description

  • Length 144 in., 365.8 cm; Width 63 5/8  in., 161.8 cm
comprised of four panels stitched together, embroidered in satin stitch with fluttering butterflies of varying colors and sizes, with a later-added mustard-yellow silk backing

Condition

The yellow silk is faded and with some faint staining in areas. There are pulls and wear along the seams which have been reinforced. The embroidery with some loose threads and wear. The textile has been relined.
