  • Height of taller 40 in., 101.6 cm Width 24 in., 61 cm; Depth 18 in., 45.7 cm
each arched crestrail comprised of five segments ending in outward scrolling handgrips, the back posts flanking an S-form central splat, the hard wood seat over plain spandereled aprons in one chair and vertical struts on the other, both chairs with two sets of reinforcing metal strap mounts to the crestrail (2)

Condition

There is slight shrinkage to the seat panels. The joinery is bit loose and has filled repairs indicating previous consolidation. There is wear to the surface, small nicks and scratches and splitting and minor replacements and repairs consistent with age and use. Please note that this lot will require a CITES permit for export outside of the United States.
