  • Height 17 in., 43.2 cm
the elongated baluster-form body covered overall in a rich-blue glaze dappled with sapphire tones, the interior white-glazed, the base with an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark in underglaze blue

Condition

The rim with an approx 4 cm U-form section out and reattached. The rim with a series of short, discolored glaze cracks produced at the time it was fired. There is a long hairline crack across the base and extending approx. 10 cm into the body.
