Description

  • Height of tallest 11 5/8  in., 29.5 cm
comprising an aubergine-glazed lobed baluster vase with 'chilong' handles; a pair of turquoise-glazed faceted 'dragon' vases; a turquoise-glazed censer with 'dragon' handles and beast-mask legs, with a wood cover; a turquoise-glazed demi-lune stand; a turquoise-glazed figure of a ram; together with an aubergine and green-glazed roof tile in the form of a monkey (9)

Condition

There are chips to the rims of the turquoise-glazed vases (as illustrated) and a few chips to the monkey. The other pieces are in mostly good condition with only minor manufacturing imperfections and/or minor frits. Please note that this lot includes a stand, frame or other component made from a type of Chinese hardwood, which, if exported, will require a CITES permit to leave the United States.
