the standing bird naturalistically carved with the head, long arching neck and winged upper body forming the cover, the lower body and webbed feet the box, the stone of an even white color (2)

Condition

The upper section in overall good condition with minor wear around the lower rim. The stone of even tone with translucence and some translucent striation. The lower section with a flake chip at the rim and at least four minute chips. There is a chip and a bruise to a foot, and a lost heel tip to the other foot.
