of faceted baluster form set on a waisted foot, two mask-handles at the neck suspending loose rings, silver plating at the rim and handles, the conforming cover with two similar handles and surmounted by a hexagonal finial (2)

Condition

The rock crystal with a few white striation inclusions to the vessel neck and body. The cover with an impact bruise and chip to a lower corner. Each interior edge of the cover with small abrasions. The vessel's interior mouth rim abraded. The silver mounts on the handles likely to cover breaks and the silver rim likely to cover chips. The foot with a small chip, and with three polished chips.
