of flattened ovoid form, rising from a flat base to a short cylindrical neck, the stone an even pale yellow tone, stopper (2)

Provenance

The Pearce Family Collection, acquired in 1923.

Condition

The neck has been reduced and a chip in the mouth has been polished down. The stone has vertical fissures running up from the base, likely natural. One side of the body has a minor scratch and the other side a small divot.
