the lobed ovoid body rising from a splayed foot to a waisted cylindrical neck, with double-grooved handle and a spout emerging from a beast-mask, covered overall with a pale olive-green glaze
Condition
The body is in overall good condition with only small firing tears and occasional specks of kiln grit; however, the handle and the tip of the spout have been off and re-stuck, and there is a restored chip to the rim (each associated retouching and spray).
