Description

  • length 45.5cm, 17 7/8 in.
the circular bowl with embossed flower motifs enamelled in pastel colours, the front with a large stylised flower in white, shadings of blue and mauve enamel, two other flowers at the sides with orange-red leaves on an olive-green ground, with stylised foliage on light blue ground at base, struck with partially visible maker's mark FR (Cyrillic), 88 standard

Condition

With some flaking and chips to the enamel, in some instaces to the metal. Areas of restoration throughout. Overall the kovsh is in good condition, but could benefit from a professional restoration.
