Catalogue Note

Arthur Bowe established Noble & Co. with William Crump around 1908 after leaving FabergĂ©'s London business in 1906.  Until 1917, the firm specialised in the retail of Russian works of art and objects of vertu at Dewar House, 11-12 Haymarket, London.  Like much of Noble's stock, the present lot is not hallmarked.
