Description

  • chalcedony, rubies, gold, enamel
  • height excluding loop 1.4cm, 1/2 in.
carved of dyed chalcedony, the cap overlaid with white enamel stems terminating in rose-cut ruby-set flowers, illegible partial maker's mark, 56 standard

Condition

The white enamel has slightly discoloured, but appears to be original; one ruby lacking.
