Condition

There are pinholes to the corners and along the left edge. There is a minor loss to the top left corner, a vertical tear to the left edge about a third of the way from the top of the sheet, as well as two smaller tears towards the centre of the left edge. There are two horizontal creases running across the inscriptions towards the lower edge of the sheet, which have cracked the surface of the sheet in places.There is a further tear to the vignette with the boat and another small tear towards the centre of the top edge. There is a light crease running diagonally from the upper right edge to the lower right corner and scratches to the water in the foreground. There is a curving pencil mark to the sky. There is scattered foxing and a light layer of surface dirt. Held floating in a white painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
