Acquired by the grandfather of the present owner prior to 1970

Condition

The canvas is painted on both sides. The canvas is unstretched and held between two sheets of plexiglass; it is undulating and uneven. On both sides there is craquelure throughout, scattered areas of paint loss and a layer of light surface dirt. Held in a simple wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
