Condition

There are several small areas of raised craquelure to the dark green pigment along the lower part of the painting. There are a few cracks to the sky along the upper part of the right edge. There are a few abrasions with traces of gilding, most notably along the top and left edges, and the corners are slightly worn. There are some small flecks of dirt in places, most visibly in the area of the sky. Inspection under UV light reveals no obvious signs of retouching. Held behind glass in a gilt wooden frame with decorative mouldings. Unexamined out of frame.
