Condition

The work is executed on the reverse of a page of View magazine, printed text is visible from the front in the sitter's forehead and in the lower part of the composition. The sheet is undulating along the top edge. Minor abrasions to the sitter's right cheek and left ear have have caused the ink to discolour. The sheet has discoloured in line with age and the ink has faded slightly. Held in a double-sided wooden frame behind two sheets of Perspex. Unexamined out of frame.
