Condition
The sheet is undulating along the left and right edges. The edges are slightly uneven. There is discoloration to the edges and corners. There are areas of staining in two places at the bottom edge and to the centre of the top edge. There is an area of paint shrinkage with flecks of paint loss to the brown pigment of the central figure's cloak, revealing an underlying layer of blue pigment. There is a faint surface scratch to the black garment of the aforementioned figure. The surface is covered in a light layer of dirt with spots scattered throughout the composition. The sheet is attached to its mount in three places along the top edge. Held behind Plexiglass in a gilt wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
