Condition
Original canvas which is buckling slightly in the upper left corner. In the lower right corner above the signature is a canvas tear of approximately 2.5cm with some paint loss. There is scattered staining throughout the composition. All four edges have frame abrasions with associated minor paint loss. There are three pinholes in the lower left corner. There is a light layer of surface dirt and flecks of dirt in places. Inspection under UV light reveals no apparent signs of retouching. Held in a gold coloured frame. Unexamined out of frame.
