Condition

Original canvas. There is a clearly visible vertical stretcher-bar mark approximately 11cm in length in the upper right corner with a corresponding dent in the canvas. There is another large dent in the upper left with some corresponding craquelure. The canvas is stretched unevenly along the top edge. There is a crack to the lower right edge. The paint surface is covered with an uneven layer of varnish. Inspection under UV light does not reveal any signs of restoration. Held in simple black wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
