The surface is dirty and there are small woodchips and small pieces of paper attached to the surface in the upper left quadrant. Inspection under UV-light does not reveal any obvious signs of restoration. Unframed. Smaller work: Original canvas which is buckling along the bottom edge. There is craquelure in places with small associated areas of paint loss, the largest of which is at the center of the top edge. The surface is covered in a layer of dirt. Inspection under UV-light does not reveal any obvious signs of restoration. Held in a simple wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
