Description
- wool pile
- approximately 633 by 285cm; 20ft. 9in., 9ft.
Condition
Overall measurements: 282cm across the top, 285cm across the bottom, 619cm the left hand side, 633cm the right hand side.
Condition is fair. Pile varies from 2mm to spot foundation (brown grounds partially oxidised). Three narrow re-piled vertical strips, probably on old fold lines, re-piling now faded as visible from photographs. Section of upper right hand outer guard re-woven approx. 15cm in depth. Outer guards removed at each end, ends stopped and with warp fringing. Replaced sidecords. Some small spot minor re-piling. Very unusual colouring. Old repairs could be re-tinted to blend otherwise ready to use.
