Overall measurements: 305cm across the top, 303cm across the bottom, 431cm the left hand side, 426cm the right hand side. Overall in very good conditiom. Thick pile 7-8mm in depth.Very slight wear at the very top of the field at approx 30cm in, where knotbars are beginning to appear but barely noticeable. Ivory surround at top end probably re-woven. With flatweave and cotton warp style fringing to match lower end which appears to be original. Sidecords apparently original. Overall a very decorative Feraghan carpet in very good condition and unusual to find an example with a ivory field.
