Condition

Overall measurements: 170cm across the top, 171cm across the bottom, 347cm the left hand side, 339cm the right hand side. Pile varies from 2mm down to knotheads with small areas of foundation visible, as visible from the photograph, mainly to ground of field. There are some small scattered repairs especially to the outer edges and three large reweaves in top right corner and both lower corners, as visible in the photograph. Some oxidisation to browns, original flatweave with knotted fringing across the top and twisted fringing along the bottom edge. Cotton tape attached to reverse of all edges. Striking colours and with beautiful spacing and placement of motifs.
