Overall measurements: 122cm across the top, 123cm across the bottom, 160cm the left hand side, 159cm the right hand side. Generally even 1mm closely sheared pile overall. Some minute areas of loss in areas of pile and some minute little repairs. Evidence of flatweave at both ends, some losses to blue flatweave at top. Vestiges of fringing at top end and fringe largely present at lower end. Attractive abrash across centre, as visible from photograph. Along the right edge due to slightly tighter tension there is gentle rucking. Original colour banded sidecords. The other rug ( Top 122cm, bottom 121cm, left 165cm, right 167cm) generally even 1mm pile overall. Some wear to central axis, centre of medallion. Would benefit from a professional clean. Both ends with soumakh edging and cut fringing. Losses to centre lower end. Original colour banded sidecords. The bagface (132 by 55cm). Generally even 1mm pile overall, colour faded overall. Some small repairs and re-weaves - visible along the lower edge. Soumakh edging and flatweave turned over along the lower edge. Some small scattered repairs.
