Condition

Overall measurements: 157cm across the top, 165cm across the bottom, 347cm the left hand side, 353cm the right hand side. Pile varies:generally 2mm with heavily oxidised dark browns down to foundation, and partially oxidised taupes down to knotbars. Multiple lines of foldwear in each vertical border. An approximately 25cm split in right hand border approximately one fifth of the way down, with split cobbled together (needs attention), and a tuck in the lower border approximately 17cm long, cobbled together (again needs attention). Sidecords missing. Losses to corners. partial end kilims extant. Would benefit from a professional clean and conservation. A pretty design and relatively early example.
