Description

Designed as a pansy, the burgundy velvet petals bordered with circular-cut and rose diamonds, reverse detachable, velvet removable and interchangeable, maker's mark.

Provenance

Formerly in the collection of the Archduchess Marie Caroline of Austria (1825-1915).

Condition

Mounted in 18 carat gold and silver. Maker's mark. Diamonds bright and lively. Dark red velvet in good condition. Signs of wear and scratches to the metal, evidence of tarnish. Clasp secure. In overall good condition. Total gross weight approximately 13 grams.
