Description

A badge in the form of a plain openwork Cross of Santiago set with 44 rubies of varying sizes, unsigned, height 63mm, width 37.5 mm, fitted with later brooch-pin for wearing, fitted case by Moritz Hübner, Vienna.

Condition

Rubies well matched in colour, red of medium strong saturation with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, minor abrasions and nicks. Metal tarnished. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 16 grams. Fitted case stamped MORITZ HÜBNER, KOHLMARKT NO. 20, WIEN.
