Description

  • length with handle 7.3cm, 2 7/8 in.
of heart shape, carved of aventurine quartz, the mount formed as a ribbon and laurel branches, struck with workmaster's initials, 56 standard, scratched inventory number 291 or 201

Condition

The hardstone with two fissures or cracks, both visible in the catalogue image. The larger crack also running to the side of the bowl. The surfaces are intact and no stone has chipped. Overall in good condition.
