Description

  • first case 20cm, 8in., second 16.5cm, 6 1/2in.
comprising four writing implements with translucent red agate handles, the paperknife blade and two additional stamp box covers with damascened ornament, probably from Eskilstuna, parcel-gilt dragon mounts, the seal matrix with princely coat of arms, original tooled leather case; and a banded agate desk set, pen holder with gilt mounts, knopped desk seal with blank matrix, paperknife, incomplete, in a gilt-tooled fitted case

Condition

Pen holder in first case lacking nib, needs professional cleaning, case worn, with damaged hinges; second in mint condition but lacking one implement.
