Description

  • 39cm. high, medallion: 24 cm. diameter, 15 1/4in., 9 1/2in.
together with a similar gilt-bronze portrait bust medallion of the medical doctor Johannes Baptista Paletta (1748-1832), signed D. Caesari and dated 1833, in an ebonised frame

Medallion: Archduke Rainer, Vice King of Lombardo-Venice (1783-1853)

Condition

In overall excellent condition. With very minor old marks and scratches throughout, consistent with age and use. Some minor scattered chipping to edges of the marble base of the bust and of the ebonised frame of the portrait medallion. Both ready to place.
