Description

with 16 plate sujibachi kabuto with five-tier shikoro and hambo [facemask], the sode, do [cuirass] and gote [sleeves] all lacquered black

Condition

Although this is a full armour (lacking shin guards) it is in poor condition with old wear and damage. The result is some surface rust to the kabuto and hanbo and the silk lacing is detached in places. It would be improved if taken off the frame and mounted in Japanese style.
