Description

  • 46 cm, 18 1/8  in.
each of octagonal form, rising from a short spreading foot to a slightly narrowed long cylindrical neck and gently flaring rim, painted around the exterior with panels of blossoming branches issuing from craggy rockwork, with a band of fruiting foliage at the neck, all between a stylised foliate border at the rim and foot

Queen Anna Pauwlona of the Netherlands (1795-1865), no. 32.

Condition

The beakers are in good condition with the exception of restoration to a circa 14 x 11cm., V-shaped break to the neck of one and light glaze scratches and minor glaze firing imperfections to both.
