Description

  • approximately 463 by 310cm; 15ft., 10ft. 3in.
  • circa 1900

Condition

Overall measurements: 305cm across the top, 310cm across the bottom, 463cm the left hand side, 456cm the right hand side. Pile generally 5mm in length with minor areas of wear within the field. There are scattered areas of very minor spot repiling within the outerguards and within the border. The sidecrds appear original. Both ends with original flatweave and knotted fringes. There is a dark 'tick' shaped mark in the right minor outer border which may benefit from attention. The carpet would benefit from a deep professional clean. The carpet has a handsome all over design, the clarity of which would likely improve with cleaning.
