the centre repoussé and chased with the double-headed Imperial eagle, the handle engraved with a portrait of Empress Anna Ioannovna, the sides with presentation inscription in Russian dated 15 September 1734 'from the Empress to Don Ataman Semen Pakhomo', struck with partial maker's mark EA
