Urbano Sacchetti inciso al frontespizio, iniziali e fregi xilografici, testo in carattere corsivo e romano, BELLA ED ELEGANTA LEGATURA ANDREOLI a cinque nervi in marocchino rosso decorata splendidamente in oro ai piatti con cornici dentellate, fregi e GRANDE STEMMA CENTRALE DI INNOCENZO XII, decorazioni oro al dorso e tagli e labbri oro, cofanetto chiuso, fioriture marginali, leggeri difetti al dorso, piccole macchie al piatto posteriore

Edizione completa della bella antiporta figurata incisa da Charles Jean Allet. L’esemplare si presenta in una splendida legatura originale in marocchino rosso finemente decorata in oro, con lo stemma di Innocenzo XII Pignatelli ai piatti (Papa 1691-1700). "It is possible that this is a Neapolitan, and not as would naturally be supposed a Roman, binding" (catalogo Schiff).
