Folio oblungo (366x471 mm.), 21 tavole incise a piena pagina comprensive di frontespizio inciso in cornice calcografica e ampia tavola allegorica di dedica a Livio Odescalchi (duca di Ceri e nipote di Innocenzo XI), con stemma Odescalchi sorretto da cherubini, legatura in mezza pergamena con angoli, placca centrale in pelle con fregi, autore e titolo in oro, cofanetto, tavole 18 e 19 staccate dalla cucitura, presenti rinforzi su alcune tavole

Catalogue Note
Splendida serie di tavole raffiguranti i piĆ¹ bei giardini romani corredati da piante. I disegni e le incisioni delle tavole appartengono interamente a Giovanni Battista Falda, eccetto per la splendida iniziale tavola allegorica con ampia veduta di sfondo su un giardino romano, eseguita da Arnold Van Westerhout.
